Odaiba

With the day off from shooting shows, we went to Odaiba, which is a man made island on the eastern side of Tokyo. A train runs over the bridge to bring you there.

Once on the other side, you look back across the water to see the Tokyo Skyline...although it's really just one of many skylines...

There's are some interesting buildings/structures/sculptures out there. There's a mini Statue Of Liberty...curious...

A large golden needle, which represents freedom...

and some cool monolithic buildings.

There's also great views of the sunset, which we filmed with 3 cameras. Hopefully the time lapses will come out well...we'll have to load the footage and speed it up.

There was also a giant neon ferris wheel, which is constantly changing colors and patterns, in typical Tokyo fashion.

After Odaiba, we stopped off in Ginza to film buildings/lights/signs. This type of footage will be helpful for transitions between interviews/shows...

Time for a drink and a shnooze.
